Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive pharmaceutical generic product sales to Independent Retail pharmacies. You will prospect to form new partnerships and strengthen relationships with the current customer base, targeting assigned pharmacies.

The role supports remote work from anywhere in the United States, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 10:00 AM–6:30 PM EST window. You will build long-term customer relationships, meet sales goals, and utilize a CRM system to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Strong process management, customer service, and communication skills preferred.
• Self-motivated to achieve goals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call on current and potential pharmacies in assigned area to convert new business, maintain current customers and grow market share.
• Form long-standing customer relationships with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Convert existing and potential customers' use of targeted products and ensure sustained sales of these products.
• Identify market intelligence on competitive activity and develop sales plans to meet business goals.
• Create and maintain a real-time database of market intelligence and sales activity using CRM systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Cardinal Health offerings and customer needs to match products to business challenges.
• Negotiate with customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and collaborate with colleagues.
• Assist with planning, selling processes, and post-sales implementation processes.
