Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive pharmaceutical generic product sales for independent retail pharmacies. You will prospect, build partnerships, and strengthen relations with the current customer base from a remote US-wide setup.

The role emphasizes telephone-based sales, early-stage deals, and meeting sales goals while leveraging Cardinal Health resources in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay and incentive eligibility are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years proven outside or inside sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Strong process management, customer service, and communication skills preferred.
• Self-motivated to achieve goals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call on current and potential pharmacies in an assigned geographical area to convert new business and grow market share.
• Form long-standing relationships with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Expand sales of targeted products and ensure ongoing customer growth.
• Identify market intelligence and communicate with internal teams to meet business goals.
• Create and maintain a real-time database of market activity using CRM systems.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Cardinal Health offerings and customer needs.
• Explain how Cardinal Health solutions match customers’ business needs and requirements.
• Negotiate with customers for mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Collaborate with supervisors on complex problems.
• Perform routine tasks with supervision and structured assignments.
