Amentum is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist to join the PERSEC Team. The role supports government clients by initiating clearance actions, processing background investigations, and managing CACs, fingerprints, and SF86 forms.

The position involves working with CSOs/FSOs, conducting security checks, and maintaining records in the security database. Amentum offers a comprehensive benefits package and day shift hours.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required.
• Familiarity with DISS and NBIS.
• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years personnel security experience.
• Knowledge of NISPOM / 32 CFR Part 117.

Responsibilities

• Initiate security background investigations for various clearance types (T3/T5).
• Process positions requiring suitability checks (NAC/BI/MBI).
• Coordinate with FSO/CSO and other security personnel.
• Handle SF86 processing and fingerprints.
