Amentum is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist to manage security clearance actions and related processing for government contracts. You will initiate investigations, handle SF86 processing, and coordinate with FSO/CSO and agencies to ensure timely clearance actions.

The role requires familiarity with DISS/NBIS, SF86 processing, and strong attention to detail. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required, with a day shift and remote work option available.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required and U.S. citizenship is necessary
• Security processing experience with SF86 and e-APP familiarity
• Experience using DISS/NBIS systems and related background investigations

Responsibilities

• Initiate security background investigations and processing for various clearance types
• Process and submit SF4311 and related clearance forms
• Coordinate with FSO/CSO and government agencies on investigations
• Review and QC investigation packages for completeness
• Assist employees with security paperwork and visits
• Maintain clearance records in NBIS and DISS databases
