Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist to support the PERSEC Team in managing government security clearances, background investigations, and related enrollment actions for the enterprise.

The role focuses on processing SF86s, coordinating with FSO/CSO, handling DISS/NBIS tasks, and ensuring accurate records in the Gateway database with an emphasis on compliance and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance required.
• Familiarity with DISS and NBIS.
• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of Personnel Security experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiate security background investigations for different clearance types.
• Coordinate with FSO/CSO and other security representatives.
• Process and submit SF4311 for clearance actions.
• Submit CSR's and request reciprocity within DISS.
• Maintain clearances in Gateway database and track status.
• Review Security Pre-Screen Forms for completeness and accuracy.
• Process SCI and SAP packages as required.
