Job summary

Aspire General Insurance Company is seeking a Licensed Personal Lines Policy Processor II for a fully remote underwriting role. You will service clients, process updates to policies, and ensure compliance with underwriting standards while maintaining high-quality service.

Responsibilities include reinstatement decisions, client communication, data verification, and processing of new policies and changes in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of underwriting experience in P&C insurance.
• Excellent administrative and back-end processing skills.
• Ability to handle higher responsibilities as workload increases.
• Strong knowledge of insurance terms, concepts and regulations.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office; adaptable to new software.
• Ability to set priorities and multi-task effectively.
• Ability to work in a paperless environment.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Compare information to policy criteria and approve reinstatements when eligible.
• Compose business correspondence for supervisors and professionals.
• Correspond with insured or agents about account status or changes.
• Examine applications and documents to determine necessary changes and effects.
• Modify and process policy changes to reflect coverage updates.
• Notify agent and accounting about cancellations and process them.
• Record new policies and claims, and prepare forms.
• Verify data on applications and policies and transcribe to worksheets.
