Job summary

Aspire General Insurance Services LLC is seeking a Personal Lines Policy Processor I to underwrite non-standard auto policies and ensure compliance with state regulations. You will verify documents, update policies, and respond to inquiries from insureds and brokers.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Remote work options are available, with some travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in insurance is a plus.
• Experience in personal lines insurance, policy processing, or underwriting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, coverage, and regulations.
• Understanding of underwriting guidelines and regulatory compliance.
• Attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance software; adaptability to new tools.
• Strong problem-solving, initiative, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Compares customer documents and policies to verify eligibility.
• Composes business correspondence for supervisors and clients.
• Corresponds with insureds or brokers about policy activity.
• Examines documents to determine if changes are needed for underwriting accuracy.
• Modifies and processes policy changes to reflect coverage changes.
• Notifies parties of cancellations and required documents to maintain compliance.
• Processes policy cancellations per regulations.
• Prepares and submits forms for business or government use.
• Maintains communication with leadership on task progress.
• Manages priorities and multi-tasking to meet quality goals.
• Provides backup during escalated call queues.
• Complies with laws, insurance policies, and work rules.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
