Job summary

TopDog Law is recruiting a Litigation Attorney for a fully remote position serving clients nationwide with a focus on Personal Injury. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of PI litigation experience, a Pennsylvania bar admission, and strong skills in communication, negotiation, and research.

The attorney will manage cases from evaluation through trial, collaborate with medical experts, and advocate for clients while upholding the highest ethical standards in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
• 8–12 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney in Plaintiff Personal Injury law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and research skills.
• Ability to manage a robust caseload independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess merits of Personal Injury claims by analyzing records, documents, and evidence.
• Represent clients in Personal Injury matters, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials; prepare and file claims and other documents.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to protect clients’ rights; conduct legal research and negotiate with insurers for settlements.
• Maintain consistent client communication; provide updates and explain processes.
• Collaborate with medical and vocational experts to evaluate injuries and appropriate compensation levels.
• Handle discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy to advance cases.
• Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and coordinate with providers and experts.
• Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality in all proceedings.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes beyond the playbook.
