Job summary

TopDog Law is a fully remote personal injury firm expanding nationally. The Litigation Paralegal will own client relationships, support attorneys in pre-litigation and litigation in Illinois, and help drive strategies and case management.

The role requires 3–7 years of relevant experience, strong organization, and the ability to manage high-volume caseloads while communicating clearly with clients and the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience supporting attorneys in pre-litigation and litigated personal injury matters in Illinois.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in reviewing and assessing merits of Personal Injury claims by organizing, reviewing, and summarizing records.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents with timely filings.
• Support case strategies by conducting legal research and summarizing medical records.
• Serve as a primary client contact for case status and document requests, maintaining professional communication.
• Manage discovery, organize trial binders, coordinate depositions, and assist with trial preparation.
