Job summary

TopDog Law is a national, fully remote personal injury firm expanding operations and valuing client relationships. The Litigation Paralegal will own client communications, assist attorneys with case management, and help drive strategies from intake through resolution.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years supporting PI matters in Illinois, excellent organization, and strong written/verbal skills. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years supporting attorneys in pre-litigation and litigated PI matters in Illinois.
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Able to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience reviewing medical records.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize records and evidence to support case evaluation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents with accuracy.
• Develop case strategies by researching law and summarizing medical records.
• Serve as primary client contact for status updates and requests.
• Assist with depositions, trial prep, and coordinating with teams.
• Maintain organized case files and update case management systems.
• Understand liens including Medicare and ERISA.
• Uphold ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with rules.
