Job summary

Cyclops is seeking a highly organized People & Operations Specialist to manage core people operations and support broader business operations as we scale in a fully remote, US-oriented role.

You will own onboarding, HR processes, and recruiting workflows while collaborating across leadership and teams to improve internal systems and processes. The role emphasizes ownership, learning, and cross-functional impact in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, business or startup operations, or project coordination.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams and levels.
• Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential information.
• Proactive, resourceful, and capable of owning new responsibilities in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
• Manage onboarding logistics: documentation, system access, equipment, schedules.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR resources.
• Support employee engagement, culture, and events.
• Assist with performance management, feedback cycles, and goals.
• Be first point of contact for routine questions; escalate when needed.
• Support HR systems, benefits, payroll coordination, and related processes.
• Support hiring with job descriptions, interview coordination, and candidate comms.
• Maintain recruiting documentation and trackers.
• Ensure smooth transition from candidate to employee onboarding.
