Job summary

Cyclops is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a platform focus to shape the long‑term evolution of our backend. You will own complex backend work, drive reliability, and serve as the technical lead for API/SDK integrations with partners while remaining hands-on in code.

This remote role spans architecture and hands-on delivery, requiring 6+ years in backend, TypeScript/Node.js, distributed systems, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years backend development experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to mentor engineers and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve core platform services with reliability and data integrity.
• Identify architectural risks and scalable improvement paths.
• Lead technical reviews with partners and document decisions.
• Improve observability and participate in incident analysis.
• Implement complex backend components in TypeScript/Node.js.
