Jerry.ai is seeking an HR Operations professional to own non-trivial compliance and policy work across multiple states. You’ll draft policies, manage payroll questions, and partner with the Payroll and HR Administration teams in a fast-growing, hands-on environment.

You’ll have room to introduce AI into HR ops, reducing busywork and enabling you to focus on judgment calls. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, at least two years as an HR generalist, and demonstrated in-house multi-state

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team where you touch payroll, benefits, and compliance yourself.
• Excited to build with AI.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance tracking and policy updates.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh in your first 90 days.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions that need a more experienced hand.
• Reviewing and unblocking the work of our Payroll and HR Administration team members.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset.
• Grow into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management over time.
