Jerry.ai is seeking an HR Operations Lead to own the multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions that arise in a fast-growing, in-house environment.

You'll write policies, run the annual compliance audit and handbook refresh, and escalate payroll and benefits issues with judgment and care. You’ll shape how AI integrates into HR ops and evolve the function over time. This is a hands-on role in a small, high-intensity team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team handling payroll, benefits and compliance.
• Excited to build with AI in HR operations.

Responsabilités

• Own multi-state compliance tracking, policy updates, and implementation across employee classifications.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh from start to finish in your first 90 days.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions requiring experienced judgment.
• Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration teams.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset.
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations ownership over time.
