Job summary

Travel up to 40% monthly for site assignments; remote within Maryland. You will guide managers on employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions, and conduct trainings on performance and diversity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combined experience may be considered.
• 5–8 years of relevant HR experience or mix of education + experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, programs, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management.
• Provide employee relations guidance and handle disciplinary actions.
• Work with managers to identify employment risks; start investigations/grievances.
• Manage HR functions for a business unit including employment and labor relations.
• Conduct trainings on performance management and diversity topics.
• Apply HR principles to complex tasks and propose innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across HR disciplines.
• Model CBRE RISE values and build consensus across teams.
• Impact a range of activities within own and related teams; explain sensitive info.
