Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a People Business Partner to roll out HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This role is remote in the USA, requiring you to live within the Philadelphia or New York area and travel up to 40% monthly, with potential overnight trips.

The incumbent will support onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, performance management, and employee relations while partnering with managers to mitigate risks and drive HR programs across a business unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant HR experience.
• Combination of experience and education considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action coaching.
• Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and initiate investigations.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation for a business unit.
• Conduct training on performance management, diversity, and related topics.
• Apply HR principles to solve complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across HR disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to build consensus.
• Impact activities within own team and related teams within broad guidelines.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
