Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or graduate degree strongly preferred.
• 6+ years’ experience in healthcare, including health plans, medical groups, providers, or healthcare delivery organizations.
• Meaningful expertise in value-based care programs and Medicaid managed care markets.
• Proven track record of independently originating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships or deals.
• Previous strategy experience in consulting, banking, or corporate strategy roles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop direct reports.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent listening, negotiation, leadership, and relationship building skills.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C‑level.
• Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive deal strategy and execution across defined opportunities and serve as a key thought partner on the Business Development team.
• Develop and drive execution of BD strategy and growth planning (go-to-market strategy, emerging trends and expansion opportunities, partnership development, contract execution).
• Drive deal structure development and risk modeling across value-based care constructs with guidance to senior leadership.
• Develop and nurture high-level relationships with industry stakeholders and partners through contract execution support from SVP, BD and CCO.
• Directly manage and develop the BD Operations Manager; improve pipeline reporting, deal infrastructure, materials governance, and CRM.
• Develop and maintain deep expertise in state Medicaid programs, RFP cycles, and policy trends affecting children with medical complexity.
• Align cross-functional BD and implementation teams across finance, legal, and clinical as deals move forward.
• Provide executive-level updates and materials to increase transparency on opportunities and next steps.
• Represent Imagine Pediatrics at industry conferences and with health plan executives as a senior spokesperson.
