Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax notices, amendments, and corrections with precision across multiple jurisdictions. You will own cases end-to-end, mentor teammates, and collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, and Pay & File teams.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive process improvement, with opportunities to influence SOPs and KBs while delivering high‑quality client service.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years hands-on payroll tax experience with notice resolution and amended return preparation.
• Experience resolving State and Federal payroll tax notices independently across multiple states.
• Familiarity with Form 941-X and state payroll tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate filings and timely responses.
• Independently research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices, including balance-due and deposit discrepancies.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X and state equivalents) and support payroll correction workflows.
• Maintain thorough case documentation and drive cases to closure within SLA.
