Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices and amendments with independence and accuracy. You will mentor colleagues while handling high-volume cases and advancing your technical depth.

The role offers flexible hours with 20–40 hours per week, overtime eligibility as an hourly non-exempt position, and collaboration with Tax Notice teams to drive accurate resolutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience with focus on notices, amendments, and corrections across multiple states.
• Familiarity with IRS/state notice types and resolution pathways.
• Experience preparing amended returns (Form 941-X, W-2c) and payroll tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts.
• Research and resolve complex notices; own case from intake to closure.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation; meet deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns independently on complex amendments.
• Assist in payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Maintain case documentation and prioritize by SLA dates.
• Contribute to SOPs and KB updates; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
