Mosaicms is seeking a Payroll Support professional to join our team in a full-time, home office role. You will support payroll operations across multiple states and communities, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

Collaborating with community leaders and the Payroll and Benefits Manager, you will handle payroll processing, updates, audits, and reporting while helping improve payroll systems and maintain compliance with wage laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payroll, accounting, or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with multiple deadlines.
• Problem-solving and research abilities.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and word processing.
• Ability to handle confidential payroll information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, and balance semi-monthly payroll across locations.
• Support about ten payrolls across multiple states.
• Update new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors.
• Conduct routine payroll audits for accuracy.
• Provide guidance to community leaders and Business Office Managers.
• Assist with updating payroll procedures and training materials.
• Generate payroll reports and reconcile tax files.
• Research payroll tax notices as needed.
• Identify ways to improve payroll systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws.
