Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a Payroll Administrator for a fully remote, non-exempt role. You will manage multi-state payroll processing across the US, ensuring accuracy and compliance, with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include W-2 processing, year-end tasks, and providing timely payroll support to employees and managers. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 3+ years minimum of full cycle multi-state payroll experience
• Advanced knowledge of US Multistate Payroll Tax Laws

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll for multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Handle data changes: hires, terminations, salary changes, deductions, and status updates.
• Process off-cycle and special payments, including final pay and ACH/rapid card payments.
• Provide payroll support to employees and managers in a timely manner.
• Maintain payroll documentation and follow recordkeeping requirements.
• Assist with year-end activities: W-2s, reconciliation, audits, and inquiries.
• Support the Payroll team and participate in system-related initiatives.
