Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage full-cycle payroll for employees across the United States in a remote environment. The role requires strong knowledge of payroll processes, compliance, and confidential records.

You will handle multi-state payroll, respond to inquiries, support year-end tasks, and collaborate with HR and finance. A minimum of 3 years of experience and a relevant degree are preferred; Workday/UKG/ADP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full-cycle multi-state payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems (Workday, UKG, ADP, Paycom) preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll accurately and compliantly.
• Update payroll information for new hires, terminations, salary changes, deductions, and status updates.
• Manage off-cycle payments, final pay, manual checks, ACH, and special payroll transactions.
• Provide payroll support to employees and managers by resolving inquiries.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and compliance files.
• Investigate payroll payment issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Support year-end activities including W-2 processing, reconciliations, and audits.
• Assist with payroll projects, reporting, and system improvements.
