Qualifications

• Two year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Payroll certification preferred.
• Proficient in HRIS utilization.
• Proficient using MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly staff, ensuring accuracy of hours, overtime, and pay adjustments.
• Review timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies with managers and employees before payroll processing.
• Calculate and process deductions, garnishments and other withholdings per policy and law.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• Process new hire, termination, and status changes accurately in the payroll system.
• Assist with integrating acquired locations or employee populations into payroll data.
