Job summary

Modaxo is seeking a US Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for eleven US entities, supporting approximately 700 employees on a semi-monthly schedule. You will collaborate with Finance and HR, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery and compliance across state agencies.

This remote, full-time role reports to the Payroll Manager and emphasizes process improvement, audits, and proactive resolution of payroll inquiries, with exposure to acquisitions work and ADP/Workday

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle payroll processing.
Experience with state SUI and Withholding accounts is a strong asset.
Workday and/or ADP Workforce Now knowledge is important for this role.
Strong customer service skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Full life cycle administration of salary and hourly payrolls for eleven US companies for ~700 employees semi-monthly.
Monitor SUI and Withholding accounts with state agencies.
Audit payroll reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries as first point of contact.
Collaborate with ADP to resolve payroll/tax issues.
Generate ad-hoc payroll reporting and assist with acquisitions integration.
