Job summary

Modaxo is seeking a US Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for eleven US entities, supporting approximately 700 employees on a semi-monthly schedule. You will collaborate with Finance and HR, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery and compliance across state agencies.

This remote, full-time role reports to the Payroll Manager and emphasizes process improvement, audits, and proactive resolution of payroll inquiries, with exposure to acquisitions work and ADP/Workday

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle payroll processing.
• Experience with state SUI and Withholding accounts is a strong asset.
• Workday and/or ADP Workforce Now knowledge is important for this role.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Full life cycle administration of salary and hourly payrolls for eleven US companies for ~700 employees semi-monthly.
• Monitor SUI and Withholding accounts with state agencies.
• Audit payroll reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries as first point of contact.
• Collaborate with ADP to resolve payroll/tax issues.
• Generate ad-hoc payroll reporting and assist with acquisitions integration.
