The role requires strong knowledge of HRIS, Excel, and payroll tax regulations, with the ability to adapt during acquisitions and system integrations.

Qualifications

• Two year degree in related field or equivalent of 3 years of payroll experience
• Payroll certification preferred
• Proficient in HRIS utilization
• Proficient using MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for 500-700 hourly employees with accurate hours and pay adjustments.
• Review timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll processing.
• Calculate and process deductions and garnishments per policy and law.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws across jurisdictions.
• Process new hire, termination, and status changes in payroll system.
• Support integration of acquired locations into payroll system.
• Audit payroll data prior to submission and address inquiries.
• Reconcile payroll reports and assist month-end close.
