Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers is seeking a Payroll Assistant on a full-time contract basis to support payroll processing, maintain accurate compensation records, verify timesheets, and ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Accounting/Finance/HR preferred.
• 1–3 years in payroll or accounting support roles.
• Strong numerical and data accuracy capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Review timesheets and attendance for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll records and payment information.
• Verify payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll reports and supporting docs.
• Respond to employee pay inquiries and schedule payroll timelines.
• Assist with tax forms, benefits deductions, and payroll docs.
• Protect confidentiality and follow payroll policies.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance to resolve issues.
• Support audits and maintain records for compliance.
• Monitor deadlines and suggest payroll workflow improvements.
