Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers is seeking a Payroll Assistant to support payroll processing, maintain compensation records, verify timesheets, and ensure timely payments. This full-time contract role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of payroll experience, an accounting/finance-related degree, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in payroll administration or related administrative roles.
• Basic understanding of payroll processing, wage calculations, deductions, and employee records.
• Experience reviewing timesheets, maintaining records, and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing employee payroll, including regular wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Review timesheets, attendance records, and work-hour submissions for accuracy.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, compensation details, and payment information.
• Verify payroll data and identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Assist with calculating wages, deductions, reimbursements, and payroll-related adjustments.
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and supporting documentation.
