Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support the payroll team during peak periods. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of end-to-end payroll experience, familiarity with multi-state processing, and strong Excel skills. CPP/FPC certification is a plus, Ceridian DayForce experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience
• Experience in multi-state, high-volume payroll environments
• Working knowledge of payroll, tax, and benefits administration
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, COUNTIF)
• Ceridian DayForce experience preferred
• CPP or FPC certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and weekly U.S. multi-state payroll accurately and on time
• Audit source documents and prepare payroll data in accordance with department guidelines
• Execute income verifications and respond to internal and external inquiries professionally
• Use tools like Excel and payroll systems to input, maintain, and retrieve data
• Provide courteous and knowledgeable customer service to employees and stakeholders
• Support special projects and perform other payroll-related duties as assigned
