Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to support our payroll team during peak periods. This remote, seasonal role focuses on accurate processing, data integrity, and timely payments for a multi-state US workforce.

You will audit source documents, run bi-weekly and weekly payroll, and respond professionally to inquiries while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulations. Knowledge of Ceridian DayForce and advanced Excel skills are preferred; CPP or FPC

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Experience in multi-state, high-volume payroll environments.
• Working knowledge of payroll, tax, and benefits administration.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and weekly U.S. multi-state payroll accurately and on time.
• Audit source documents and prepare payroll data per guidelines.
• Execute income verifications and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Use Excel and payroll systems to input, maintain, and retrieve data.
• Provide courteous and knowledgeable customer service to employees and stakeholders.
• Support special projects and other payroll duties as assigned.
