Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, finance administration, or related experience.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications.
• Experience with payroll software, HRIS platforms, or accounting systems is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify employee payroll information, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
• Review timesheets and payroll documentation for accuracy.
• Enter and maintain payroll data in payroll and HR systems.
• Assist with regular payroll cycles and deadlines.
• Calculate and verify wages, deductions, taxes, benefits, and adjustments.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Assist with new hires, changes, terminations, and payroll updates.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities and tax documents.
