Job summary

Eis group usa is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk for a full-time contract role. The position supports accurate payroll processing, record maintenance, and payroll inquiries with strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of payroll, accounting or finance administration experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Experience with payroll software or HRIS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify employee payroll information including hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions.
• Review timesheets and payroll documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter and maintain payroll data in payroll and HR systems.
• Assist with regular payroll cycles and deadlines.
• Calculate wages, deductions, taxes, and benefits; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and assist with year-end filings.
• Support payroll reconciliations and payroll reporting.
• Assist with new hires, changes, terminations and payroll updates.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and other departments on payroll issues.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local requirements and audits.
