Job summary

Businessolver is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support accurate, timely US payroll processing by reviewing payroll data, validating timekeeping and employee changes, and resolving routine discrepancies. You will assist with tax withholding, audit support, and multi-state termination pay, serve as backup during absences, and maintain records with confidentiality and attention to detail.

This role requires strong Excel skills, knowledge of federal/state payroll rules, and the ability to meet strict

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of US payroll processing experience.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance/HR or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of US payroll concepts and multi-state compliance.
• Experience with US Federal W-2 preparation and reconciliations.
• Experience with payroll, HRIS, or timekeeping systems (Ceridian Dayforce, ADP, or Workday).
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with biweekly payroll processing accurately and on time.
• Review timekeeping, earnings, deductions, direct deposit changes, and tax elections.
• Review terminations for final pay timing and documentation requirements.
• Support payroll tax withholding, filing, and reporting activities.
• Research payroll discrepancies and resolve routine items; escalate when needed.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain payroll records.
