Job summary

Approvely, Inc. is seeking a Payments Product Support Specialist for a remote role in the United States. You will bridge customers, sales, and engineering, guiding integrations, optimizing authorization rates, and addressing payment flows and fraud controls.

You’ll act as a technical resource during sales, handling 3DS, MCC codes, and various payment methods while ensuring a seamless customer experience across mobile apps and web platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the payments industry in technical support, integration, or product support.
• Strong understanding of payment processing flows, webhooks, and API-based integrations.
• Experience with chargebacks, KYC, fraud prevention, and risk management.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers integrating Approvely’s platform into apps or websites.
• Provide guidance on integration best practices, including Webhooks and settlement workflows.
• Troubleshoot payment processing issues and escalate to engineering when needed.
• Assist customers with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and alternative methods integration.
• Explain transaction flows, authorizations, settlements, and dashboard displays.
• Support sales as a technical resource, answering questions on system capabilities and risk controls.
• Advise on 3DS impacts, MCC codes, fraud prevention, and chargeback management.
• Stay informed on payments ecosystem trends and collaborate with product/engineering.
