Velora, the unified nonprofit software company, is seeking a Sr. Payments Risk Analyst to own fraud and risk for Velora Pay. You’ll manage day-to-day monitoring and design scalable rules with automation, partnering with Engineering, Customer Success, and IT & Compliance.

This remote role covers North America; you’ll build playbooks, use AI to speed investigations, and measure outcomes like leakage reduction and false positives, helping expand Velora’s trusted payment volumes for nonprofits.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in payments fraud or risk analysis.
• Own fraud outcomes with sound judgment.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Stripe or similar processing rails.
• Experience implementing AI or automation in risk workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day transaction monitoring and fraud/risk review for Velora Pay.
• Investigate suspicious activity end-to-end and document outcomes.
• Design, test, and iterate detection rules and workflows to catch bad activity earlier.
• Reduce manual load by building automation to scale with payment volume.
• Partner with Customer Success on risk issues and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with IT & Compliance to align risk with security posture.
• Create playbooks and feedback loops for a team-of-one.
