Boulevard is hiring a Risk Analyst II to review merchant applications during onboarding, monitor transactions for risk, and manage payments-related escalations. You will ensure compliance with internal policies, processor guidelines, card brand rules, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand credit card processing statements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google, especially Excel/Sheets.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with merchant processing platforms and applications.
• Knowledge of card brand rules and PCI compliance.
• 3–7 years of experience in the payment industry, underwriting, monitoring, or fraud/risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive merchant application reviews, including KYC/AML.
• Review flagged transactions and alerts; provide compliance recommendations.
• Support development of fraud detection and risk management tools.
• Assess merchant history to determine processing limits and risk levels.
• Collaborate with Onboarding, Customer Support, and external partners on processing matters.
