Velora seeks a Senior Payments Risk Analyst to own fraud and risk for Aplos Pay. You’ll monitor transactions daily and design scalable rules, automation, and AI-driven improvements with engineering, CS, and IT/compliance partners.

You’ll operate as a one-person team, collaborating across finance, success, and security to reduce false positives, improve detection, and enable onboarding of more customers while maintaining strong risk controls.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on payments fraud / risk analysis experience.
• Ownership of fraud or risk outcomes with sound judgment.
• High autonomy as a 'team of one' with structured processes.
• Experience with payment rails and tools; Stripe is a plus.
• Proven AI or automation in risk/workflow contexts.

Aufgaben

• Own day-to-day monitoring and risk decisions for Aplos Pay.
• Investigate suspicious activity end-to-end and document outcomes.
• Design, test, and iterate detection rules and workflows.
• Build automation to scale review capacity with volume.
• Partner with Customer Success on risk issues and with IT/compliance.
• Create playbooks and feedback loops for a one-person team.
• Leverage AI/data tools to speed investigations while preserving judgment.
• Track metrics like leakage, review effort, and false positives.
• Enable safe onboarding of more customers to Aplos Pay.
