WEX Inc. is seeking a motivated Relationship Manager to support Direct Middle Market customers. You will act as a junior relationship manager, delivering on growth objectives, and coordinating with internal teams to support day-to-day operations from a remote US location.

The role emphasizes managing ~100 partner relationships, driving value, and leading quarterly business reviews. Experience in payments, contract negotiations, and consultative sales is ideal, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years in relationship management, consultative sales, contract negotiations, operations, and/or solution architecture roles.
• Experience with mid-sized commercial businesses and payment technology companies.
• Commercial card and Payments knowledge.
• Demonstrated financial acumen.
• Excellent credibility with management and partners.
• Excellence in problem solving, analysis, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of ~100 Direct MM partners, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of value.
• Engage with leadership, account management, operations, finance, legal, product management and solutions; expect regular partner contact.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with partners’ senior management and drive roadmap for new value creation.
• Assist in pricing models, contracts, renewals, and negotiation to secure profitable terms.
• Support product solutions with business cases and drive process improvements across teams.
