Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical support or software development with production systems.
• Proficient in C# and .NET, able to read production code and trace bugs.
• Strong SQL: diagnostic queries against SQL Server/Azure SQL to trace data.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and production monitoring.
• Proven triage of production incidents with clear status updates under time pressure.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication with technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to analyze logs to identify error patterns and root causes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production environments during core hours, identify anomalies in payments, settlements, and integrations.
• Triage inbound requests from dealers and internal teams; classify severity, reproduce issues, and set ETA.
• Investigate issues using Datadog, Azure Insights, and SQL against production data to determine root causes.
• Serve as primary contact for dealers with payment, terminal, or settlement issues; communicate clearly.
• Write and run diagnostic SQL queries to validate data and trace transaction lifecycles.
• Coordinate with payment processor support on gateway issues.
• Document resolved issues, workarounds, and root causes for the knowledge base.
• Elevate systemic bugs with reproducible steps and impact assessments.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to runbooks and playbooks.
• Assist with code/config changes for straightforward issues and deploy changes in production when needed.
