Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payer reimbursements and to resolve line-level discrepancies. You will analyze underpayments, rebill as needed, and coordinate with Revenue Integrity to implement corrective actions.

The role requires deep knowledge of hospital financial operations, CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding, and experience with Epic systems. Remote work is offered for qualified states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum five years of health care financial operations experience.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding.
• Epic certification is preferred on hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and identify root causes.
• Resolve price/contract discrepancies and implement corrections.
• Lead rebill projects to recoup underpayments.
• Research non-covered or denied charges and assist appeals.
• Monitor and report payment issues and educate staff to resolve them.
