The position focuses on deposits, posting accuracy, and timely reconciliations within medical billing operations. You will work with payers, clients, and internal teams to ensure precise financial processing. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of insurance posting, knowledge of payer rules, and proficiency in Excel and Google apps.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience.
• Knowledge of payer contracts & government reimbursement rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications.
• Skilled in using computer applications for payment posting with an understanding of A/R follow up.
• Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement policies.
• Experience with medical billing software (Raintree Systems experience a plus).

Aufgaben

• Update and maintain logs and spreadsheets used for reconciliation.
• Investigate, research, and resolve outstanding deposits with clients/payors for accurate posting.
• Identify information to clear posting errors and follow ups.
• Participate in month end closing.
• Retrieve and post remittances from payor websites when needed.
• Research unidentified payments or recoupment to determine resolution.
• Identify patterns indicating issues and notify leads or supervisors.
• Assist clients by answering inquiries and providing information.
• Reconcile daily cash deposits to the billing system and bank.
• Special projects as assigned.
