Job summary

Shields Health Solutions seeks a Supervisor of Patient Services to lead a team of up to 10 FTEs, enhance patient interactions, and drive workflow efficiency across our patient services operations. You will partner with the Manager of Patient Services to mentor staff, monitor productivity, and ensure service excellence for patients and internal stakeholders.

Remote with occasional West Coast travel (WA, OR, CA); strong leadership, pharmacy tech background, and proficiency with EPIC and MS Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Liaison experience preferred
• State registration and national CPhT certification required (or obtained within an agreed timeframe)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 10 FTEs
• Review staff messaging and Epic pools to ensure timely completion of work
• Support FFT communications and resolve delivery slip concerns
• Troubleshoot workflow questions and provide real-time guidance to Pharmacy Liaisons
• Monitor PA Log activity and identify operational gaps
• Evaluate TelemetryRx completion and coordinate coverage as needed
• Observe workflows and provide coaching and performance feedback
• Assist with weekly staff meetings and rollout kickoff calls
• Promote collaboration between refill technicians, pharmacy liaisons, pharmacy operations staff, and PSC staff
• Recommend and implement workflow improvements in partnership with the Manager of Patient Services
• Identify opportunities to enhance patient interactions and operational efficiency
• Support onboarding and new-hire access requirements
