Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Support Supervisor to lead a high-performing team within our Patient Support Center. This role ensures patients receive medications accurately and on time while focusing on staff development in a fast-growing specialty pharmacy.

The ideal candidate has pharmacy or healthcare operations experience, a national certification (CPhT), and the ability to manage remote and on-site teams with strong analytical and collaboration skills to improve workflows

Qualifikationen

• Requires national certification (CPhT).
• 3+ years pharmacy technician experience (specialty pharmacy preferred).
• Leadership experience preferred (formal or informal).
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or in progress.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Ability to influence, collaborate, and drive results across teams.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; familiarity with EMR systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coach a team of Patient Support Associates to ensure medication adherence, prior authorization completion, and financial assistance support.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, PTO, and time reporting; step in during peak periods.
• Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and drive operational improvements.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance management for the team.
• Collaborate with hospital/clinic stakeholders and internal teams to ensure timely medication delivery and issue resolution.
