Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a remote Patient Services Inbound Representative to provide inbound phone coverage for multiple dental offices and schedule patients within guidelines. You will route clinical and billing inquiries to the appropriate pools and support a fast-paced, patient-first environment.

The role offers home-based work with strong onboarding, continuous learning, and access to a large network of supported doctors and offices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to multitask.
• Dedicated workspace free from distractions.
• Proficient keyboarding and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and outstanding customer service.
• Strong listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient’s need and responds with critical judgment to provide exceptional customer service.
• Quickly builds rapport and maintains positive demeanor with patients and office staff.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication with patients.
• Protects confidentiality of patient health information and maintains privacy.
• Follows workflows for multiple offices and navigates between computer systems.
• Meets individual and department performance metrics while handling and documenting 90 patient interactions daily.
• Promotes a positive, productive environment and teamwork.
• Other projects as assigned.
