Alpine is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our centralized call center. This hybrid/remote role in the McAllen, TX area involves handling high-volume calls, scheduling appointments, updating patient records in the EHR, and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a high-volume call center.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is preferred.
• Professionalism in stressful environments.
• Proficient with computer systems and scheduling software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Adherence to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from patients, providers, and external partners in a courteous and professional manner.
• Schedule patient appointments based on availability and staff preferences.
• Input and update patient demographics, medical history, and insurance details in the EHR.
• Liaise between patients and medical professionals to relay messages and follow-up information.
• Address patient concerns and inquiries with empathy; resolve scheduling issues when possible.
• Stay updated on medical office protocols and participate in ongoing training.
