Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for our Contact Center team. You will manage appointment scheduling and handle incoming calls from providers and patients, ensuring timely, courteous service in line with clinic policies.

Training will be onsite at our Matthews, NC office for the first three weeks, after which the role shifts to remote work within standard business hours. The position supports the clinical team and patient care workflows.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in call center/medical setting involving inbound calls, scheduling, patient flow, and patient care.
• Experience in fast-paced customer service setting is required.
• Prior experience with healthcare certifications (MAA, MOA, Unit Secretary, EMT, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Appointment scheduling and answering incoming calls from healthcare providers and patients.
• Ensures calls are handled timely and that patient appointments align with OC and clinic policies.
• Reschedules patients to accommodate clinic schedules and assists referral physicians with information and resources.
• Supports clinical team by using templates and protocols and sending them to the clinical team for response.
