AdventHealth is seeking a remote Customer Service Representative to support Hendersonville-area patients from Fletcher, NC. The role handles high inbound call volumes, guides patients to providers, schedules appointments, and assists with patient portal access.

Strong English communication, computer skills, and familiarity with EMR systems are required. Location is remote but local to the Hendersonville/Fletcher area.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with internet-based applications and web browsers is required.
• Knowledge of and experience with electronic medical records is required.

Responsabilidades

• Answers a high volume of inbound calls, averaging 80-130 calls per day.
• Responds to calls politely, professionally, and efficiently.
• Accesses a variety of resources for accurate, complete, and appropriate management of calls.
• Assists callers and patients with needs such as selecting providers, scheduling appointments, and preparing patients for their first appointment.
• Schedules new and established patient appointments and assists patients with patient portal access.
• Communicates prescription refill requests and other messages to clinic staff; builds strong relationships with departments and medical staff to facilitate patient communication and care.
• Maintains a strong working knowledge of all computer systems and communication tools.
