Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Patient Navigator (Admissions Coordinator) for a 100% remote role. You will be the first contact for individuals seeking care and guide patients and families through the admissions process with the Intake & Needs Assessment team.

A bachelor’s degree is required and one year of healthcare admissions experience is preferred, with shift 10pm–6:30am EST Tue–Sat. Pay is $17.00 per hour, plus a 90‑day sign‑on incentive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year or more experience in healthcare admissions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen new patients and coordinate arrivals.
• Review admissions against criteria with Admission Counselor.
• Schedule assessments for voluntary patients.
• Respond promptly to inquiry calls.
• Handle clerical duties and data entry.
• Gather clinical and demographic data from patients.
• Assist patients and families in seeking treatment.
• Register patients to the assigned program.
• Complete admissions accurately and distribute necessary paperwork.
• Refer inquiries to appropriate community resources.
• Coordinate with referral sources and transportation.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude while prioritizing patient safety.
