Job summary

Midwest Vision Partners is seeking a Patient Intake and Communications Representative to serve as the liaison between the company and patients. This remote role focuses on scheduling, triaging, and ensuring accurate information across subsidiaries/sites with high attention to detail and strong probing/listening skills.

You will handle patient communications via phone, email, and text, schedule appointments, distribute schedules, and maintain complete documentation while meeting quality and NPS

Qualifications

• Experience in medical/clinical environment (2+ years).
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening.
• Proven customer service and ability to work independently post-training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physician schedules to ensure smooth appointment flow.
• Call patients to reschedule appointments as needed.
• Contact patients who did not respond to reminders to secure rescheduling.
• Type and distribute weekly doctor schedules to offices and staff.
• Send information packets or mass mailings on request.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
