Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients, caregivers, referral sources, and branch locations about nutrition therapy orders and inquiries.
• Process monthly patient refill requests via digital channels and inbound calls.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and order documentation for accurate, timely shipments.
• Update electronic patient records and maintain account information.
• Answer calls, provide order status updates, and route inquiries to appropriate departments.
• Assist patients with refill requests, payments, and account questions.
• Investigate and resolve routine patient concerns; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Review accounts for outstanding balances and assist with payments as directed.
• Process credit card and other payments accurately.
• Support team during high-volume periods and complex patient service situations.
• Ensure a positive patient experience through professional, compassionate service.
